Bargain Shopping

Everyone loves a good bargain. But how do you know if you are getting the best bargain? What are some things that you do to get a bargain? As someone who loves getting a lot of value in what I buy, bargain shopping is what I do when I go out.

Check out the ads that claim that there is a sale. Read the advertisement carefully to make sure you understand what the sale entails of. Check for things that are in season and sales that only occur at certain times of the year. Sources can be your newspaper, coupons through the mail or online. A good example of season sales are car dealerships lower the prices on their cars significantly towards the end of a year to get rid of older models. Picking fruit and flowers (and buying in bulk) that is in season can also save you a bundle in the purchase and the gas to the store.

Always get organized before shopping. This means making a list of the specific things you are planning on buying. This will prevent you from wandering off in the store with an arm full of items you thought you needed, but really don’t. Read the rest of this entry »
